Our latest building opening its doors to the students of Leicester is The Orchard. Inspired by the famous local Leicestershire Belvoir fruit farms, The Orchard offers new luxurious studios, two-bedroom apartments, a private outdoor garden and generous communal areas.
Located on Friar Lane, The Orchard is less than a one minute walk to the De Montfort University campus. All you need to do is cross the road and you’re there! Here at ULIV, one thing we pride ourselves on is the proximity of all our buildings to the local universities, making them the ideal choice for students studying in the city.
The prime location of The Orchard, set in the heart of Leicester, again makes it perfect for students with every facility you could think of right on your doorstep! This includes great shopping centres like Highcross; home to over 100 stores and a deluxe cinema. Leicester city centre boasts a huge variety of restaurants, bars, cafes and social activities to keep any student entertained throughout their stay - all only a short walk from The Orchard! Round the corner you’ll also find a multitude of supermarkets, both local and international, so you can always easily pop out and get the essentials.
Looking inside at the building’s luxurious facilities, we’ve made sure The Orchard is fully equipped with everything you need all in one place. The private garden exclusively for residents is a great spot to catch some sun in the summer months, and in those colder winter months head indoors to our communal areas great for socialising with a large TV. Don’t think we’ve forgotten the practical things too! The Orchard has two communal laundry rooms that are open to be used 24/7.
Here at ULIV we know how daunting it can be to live alone and place high priority on your safety when you stay with us. The Orchard has 24-hour CCTV and on-site security overnight even when reception is closed, so someone is always there for you no matter what.
Finally, let’s talk about the showstopper, the room! Our studios are designed around you, so we’ve taken the extra steps to make sure you’re comfortable. Of course we have fitted all our studios with the essential top quality facilities that you would expect from us at ULIV, but as per usual we’ve gone the extra mile. Every studio has an ethernet port as well as the building having super high-speed WiFi, so no need to worry about Netflix buffering as you watch your favourite show on your 50” TV. Every resident will also receive a free bedding pack when they move in, as well as bathroom and kitchen packs available for purchase.
